That's the concept car they showed a couple years ago. I have a few pictures I took of it at a recent auto show on my home page. It looks downright evil in person, but the latest rumors are that the production car won't look very much like it.

Matt, none of your pics on your page are coming up.

Thanks for pointing that out... I think my home page is starting to wear out and I'm going to have to rebuild it one of these days.
I saw a version in 1999. I'm almost convinced it's the same one in pic 1 at the top of the page. That one looks like a 2dr but I think it's actually a 4dr.
The most recent one I've seen is a 4dr and it's not too easy on the eyes. Hopefully, dodge will either built it too look like a 2dr or make it a 2dr altogether. That 4dr isn't going to sell well. CAR AND DRIVER had these photos and much to say about this new version, including that it will be speed limited(governed) to 130mph with the Hemi option, and they estimate the weight at about 4,100 pounds. None for me, thanks. I'm tryin' ta quit!

Yes, the picture at the top of the page and all of KrautBurner's are of the 1999 concept. It does have four doors, but they still manage to flow very well with the lines of the car.

we'll the should have stuck with the 99' version, even if it was a four door it would still look better than the new concept.

Looks Coll to me, but will they make it?

Its new Dodge, now the newer dodges all look like crap to me except for some of there trucks.
This car was designed under the watch of Bob Lutz and Tom Gale (pre-German invasion of Chrysler). They generated some of the most stunning prototypes of any car company that I can remember. Tom Gale was on the original design team of the original Charger.
I was fortunate enough to meet Tom Gale at a fund raising awards party and talked about a design that I had presented to DC for SEMA (which was not accepted by the powers that be). His first comment to me was that they should not have called this car a Charger (Magnum Coupe...yes). Our design intergrated many accents that Tom Gale's designs inspired into a Trans Am/ IMSA version of the Charger. Unfortunately, DC has been hijacked by the BLING crowd and all they wanted was air bags, DVD/ stereo systems and a paint job.
If you guys are interested, I will try to post a few of the drawings up here.
