Getting cold feet in LT's...

I am looking at buying and having LT's installed for 700.00 on my 99 Ybody. But I have a bad habit of over anaylizing things and starting to consider the following. LS6 intake swap and a Borla cat-back. These two items would add up to the same price as the LT's... Decisions, descisions...

I'd get the LTs & a cutout first. You'll get a better hp gain from those.

I am going to try to get the price down to 750.00 installed for the LT's. A little price break will make me feel better.

Here is a link to the Borla Cat-Back I am intersted in.

Heard H/C 98 Corvette last week with the straight pipes and I did not think it was that loud...

Thoughts.

Youll get used to it after a little while. When I first got my cutout, I thought it was loud as hell. But I got used to it now I think its pretty quiet. Most people tell me its very loud though.

Converters cut out a lot of sound.

Get the L/T but the LS6 intake is easy to change out, you could do that in a couple of hours look for one on ebay. You can get them for under 400 bucks.
