Tons of missing explosives in Iraq AFTER being discovered by our troops

A tape of Osama Bin Laden reminding the American public Bush hasn't gotten him yet and according to the CBS and NBC polls tonight, people agree it's hurting Bush

Kerry steadily gaining in the polls

Much larger than expected voter turn out anticipated

A whistle blower at Halliburton is in the news

Lay offs in Michigan

F 911 is on TV this weekend

It’s not looking good for Bush. Not good at all. My only question is how many members of his cabinet is he going to pardon before being forced to leave office in January?

Russian special forces troops moved many of Saddam Hussein's weapons and related goods out of Iraq and into Syria in the weeks before the March 2003 U.S. military operation, The Washington Times has learned.

John A. Shaw, the deputy undersecretary of defense for international technology security, said in an interview that he believes the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, "almost certainly" removed the high-explosive material that went missing from the Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.

"The Russians brought in, just before the war got started, a whole series of military units," Mr. Shaw said. "Their main job was to shred all evidence of any of the contractual arrangements they had with the Iraqis. The others were transportation units."

Mr. Shaw, who was in charge of cataloging the tons of conventional arms provided to Iraq by foreign suppliers, said he recently obtained reliable information on the arms-dispersal program from two European intelligence services that have detailed knowledge of the Russian-Iraqi weapons collaboration.

Most of Saddam's most powerful arms were systematically separated from other arms like mortars, bombs and rockets, and sent to Syria and Lebanon, and possibly to Iran, he said.

Why was he always behind anyway? Maybe many don't trust him?

Agreed

A whistle blower at Halliburton is in the news

In February 2003, the Corps of Engineers gave Halliburton a temporary no-bid contract to implement its classified oil-fire plan. The thinking was it would be absurd to undertake the drawn-out contracting process on the verge of war. If the administration had done that and there had been catastrophic fires, it would now be considered evidence of insufficient postwar planning. And Halliburton was an obvious choice, since it put out 350 oil-well fires in Kuwait after the first Gulf War.

The Clinton administration made the same calculation in its own dealings with Halliburton. The company had won the LOGCAP in 1992, then lost it in 1997. The Clinton administration nonetheless awarded a no-bid contract to Halliburton to continue its work in the Balkans supporting the US peacekeeping mission there because it made little sense to change midstream. According to Byron York, Al Gore's reinventing-government panel even singled out Halliburton for praise for its military logistics work.

So, did Clinton and Gore involve the United States in the Balkans to benefit Halliburton?

More Lay offs in Michigan

Some pockets of the state were hurt as summer and tourism-related employment dipped after Labor Day. But those losses were offset by teachers and school employees returning to work after summer break, the Department of Labor and Economic Growth said.

Fat bastard.....Wants his fame, nothing more, nothing less.........

Now answer my question..

Riddle me this....How can Kerry have plans for anything involving the citizens now, yet never presented any of them when he had the chance as a senator? Seems to me, all the hearings he missed, would make him not give a damn about any issues....That's common sense and that is selfish..not what we need as a President! I myself could come up with different solutions to the war in Iraq, doesn't mean I could be President....

It's not fear at all. He simply knows there's no logical answer which actually supports Kerry, or voting for him. That won't change his vote. Sadly for him and others on that side, it won't change ours either, as some of us actually REQUIRE answers rather than rhetoric.

Anyone who thinks ABC NEWS isn't run by liberals hasn't been paying any attention to their slanted views since 1984.

Well at least I have the consolation of knowing I"m not voting for
RALPH Fucking NADER,

because

everyone who voted for him last time thought they were "making a statement", and they did.

The statement was they were too STUPID to just cast a vote for GWB, so they voted for Corvair Boy, and the results were the same.

Some statement, eh? Too fucked in the head to know which way to go, so they voted for a candidate who "didn't count" and the results helped get GWB elected. If they could only figure a couple chess moves in advance, they'd be downright dangerous.

Those kind of schmoos can help ya, and they can hurt ya, let's hope they help get rid of the Metrosexual trial lawyer girly-man platform. And we thought ole panty-sniffin Clinton was bad, these guys are much worse.

The Saddam/Chirac/Bin Laden ticket, ha ha, oh yeah, don't forget Ted Kennedy. How can anyone take these guys seriously???

I'd rather be for Bush and lose, than Kerry and win, becuse knowing I was such a piece of shit supporting Kerry would make it very tough to ever regain self esteem for myself. If I support GWB and lose, then I can always remember I did the right thing. Of course, he's not going to lose, thank God for that (a second time).

Riddle me this Mr. P and IMSA. Given that both of you support pieces of shit, doesn't voting for either make you a piece of shit too?

You two are really just arguing over which piece of shit you think smells less foul. Fact is they both stink. You are both dumber for having become obsessed with two of the biggest morons to ever gain notoreity in this world.

Heck, support Saddam too, he's just another POS.

The problems with this world have nothing to do with people in this country, Russia, Iraq, Syria or anywhere else. The problems all stem from the PsOS that get put in positions of political power. It's been the same forever, and neither Bush nor Kerry will change that.

Chances are a fool like GrapeNuts scored higher than both of them on his military aptitude tests anyway.

so who are you going to vote for?

Posted by: The OLE MAN

I'm voting for the GOOD OLE BOY, GW

The OLE MAN

Bottom line SVO, you can vote for whoever you like...That is what makes this country great...If you feel it is throwing a vote away, then next time help them campaign...We can trash talk from the living room till were blue in the face, but if it bothers us so much, we have the right to do something about it..Write a book, make personal speeches, make a movie or what have you...

One thing, you have to agree with, more people are going to the polls than ever before and that is a plus! I sure don't want the gov't dictating who will be president...Not that it's likely to happen, but anything in the future is possible...

Riddle me this, If someone can call people dumb for voicing their opinions on two people they despise, but complain right along with them, wouldn't that put them into the same boat?

Posted by: Mr. P

This might surprise some of you, but I don't think both of them are pieces of shit. I think GWB is a hell of a man, able to "take" more shit than anyone on this forum BTW. And we know he can dish it out too.

Mr. P
