DR Tread depth question.

My BFG DR's are one or two burn-outs away from the ware bars 
. How long are the DR's ggod for, traction wise? Or better, how low can the tread be and they still perform?

I figure they're better today than they ever were, thanks to all the technology involved. Back when I had them, I quickly wore them down and I must say, they had dry pavement traction right till the threads were visible. Wet pavement traction stuck, no matter the tread depth!
