Man Survives Jump Into Lion's Den
46-Year-Old Reportedly Trying To Convert Lions To Christianity

A man was attacked and injured after jumping into a lion's den at the Taipei Zoo and trying to convert the lions to Christianity.

The 46-year-old man leaped into the den of African lions and shouted "Jesus will save you," according to the report. He also said, "Come bite me" before one of the male lions attacked and bit the man.

Video showed the lion ripping a jacket off the man at the zoo in Taiwan's capital, clawing him and then biting the man in the leg.

Zoo workers were able to drive off the lion with water hoses and tranquilizer guns.

The lions were fed earlier in the day otherwise the man might have been more seriously injured or killed.

I'm glad ya didn't get too badly hurt, there pardner. I've been trying
to tell ya, "the world is a dangerous place".

Katie Couric has been on the tube for the last two days, publically wondering what went wrong, with furrowed brow, and pulling her reading glasses off and tossing them on the table. She doesn't get it, and apparently neither did Terry Mcauliffe.

You can't ignore the entire heartland of the United States, and only win a few large cities and govern "The Land". The Dems need an overhaul of philosophy: right now they're looking at themselves wondering, and it remains to be seen if they will come back at us and (one) try to force feed us the same philosophy of gay marriage, taxes, and pussyfooting around the world political scene, or (two) if there will actually be some kind of a change in philosophy.

In any case, Kerry ran a campaign full of internal strife, wetted fingers to the wind, and primping, and Bush ran an organized diversion from the War on Terror long enough to put Kerry back in the cheap seats, and now he can get back to serious business.

Religion, if it is reduced down to only a crutch, which I don't agree with, sure is a better crutch than what comes from a bottle.

Of the 6 billion people on the planet, only 1 billion of them believe in Protestant Christianity. When Protestants are combined with Catholics, Christianity is still the largest religion, but it is not the majority religion. No religion commands a majority of the world's people. Perhaps that's the way it should be. The statistics show:

2 billion Christians

1.3 billion Muslims

900 million Hindus

850 million secular/non-religious/agnostic

350 million Buddhists

20 million Yoruba

14 million Jews

While it IS questionable as to whether or not YOU came from an ape, the rest of us DIDN'T! If that were true, one of those ultra-smart scientist types would've already proven it, which NONE has.

Markus, simply because you choose to believe in theory doesn't mean evolution is right. Fact is, nobody has ANY proof of evolution, hence the factual term "theory of evolution" to begin with. Nobody ever refers to the Holy Bible as a theory with a clear head(they call it fiction). People have TRIED IN EARNEST for over 2,000 YEARS to prove the Holy Bible a book of fiction. Precisely ZERO has accomplished this "goal" in life. However, billions have deemed the Bible accurate after doing all they could and failing to prove it incorrect, and themselves turned to Christianity or some other religion.

If you can prove Jesus didn't walk on water, and didn't rise fron his grave, I'll try again to believe in the completely ridiculous "theory of evolution" for you. For that matter, if you can BE THE MAN who finds that "missing link" others have searched unsuccessfully for centuries to find, proving evolution isn't merely a theory, you let us all know. We're NOT from apes, kiddo. And the mere fact that apes still exist is proof ALONE that we didn't come from them. Use that "beer guage" sometime! Afterall, it AIN'T JUST A HAT RACK!

I didn't ask what legal age to get drunk in your country is. I hardly care beyond the safety aspects and frankly, you can't even comprehend them yet. Trust this, if you live long enough, and quit drinking your sorrows away through life, you'll conclude the same. I know this to be true, as I did it myself. Some do, some dont.. its not an instantaneous change Many many many many MANY generations hundreds and thousands of years of change is what evolution is. its not just *snap* your human and all apes drop dead. Grap Ape has done about as good as anyone person could at trying to explain things to the boy wonder. I, however, feel that Markus has some serious underlying problems, even though he may not admit it. Markus, were you molested as a child? Did some uncle or some other relative sodomize you, or did that happen by your own free will? I remember when it was the cool thing to do to get drunk. It was cool because we were underage and weren't supposed to be drinking. I remember being so sloshed that I didn't remember how I got home. It was sooooo cool back then. Naturally tho, I had no clue as to all the dangers I was putting myself and others at and thought that I wouldn't ever get hurt or hurt anyone by doing things like drinking. I remember it was soooo cool back then to tell your friends how sloshed I was last night and how much of a blast I had while I was sitting there with a splitting headache etc etc etc.

Yea, back then I knew it all too. I hope Markus don't think (but I would almost bank that he does) that just because you hit 18 you are now an adult that doesn't need to be told anything or can no longer learn anything. Fact is kiddo, I am 32 and still learn things and look back even on say the previous 5 years and can find things that I should have or should not have done. Things I thought were cool even 5 years ago I can look back think some are silly. Alot of things I am not ashamed of alot of things I am. I am not alone in this, that is just how we all grow.

I know I am wasting my breath/time saying this but when you get older youll see being a drunk isn't cool. Its just seems cool to you now because it was something that you were unable to do/ well better yet not suppose to do and now you can (if you are even of legal age).

Yea, I use to think I knew everything, and even now, am starting to see things from other perspectives and realize that wow was I stupid for saying/thinking this or that back then. You too will grow out of that mentality you are in (and no I am not just talking about if you believe in Jesus or not) about how you think being drunk is cool, or that you know everything, among other things. Just hopefully you will do this before you get yourself killed.
