Maybe my car is a bit quicker than I thought. I beat a 99+ Z28 on my way home from work tonight. The first time we caught the last light that goes out of town together. I looked over at it and it starts revving and creeping forward. Light turns green, we take off. Im spinning through most of 1st gear but not too bad. Shift into second and can feel my rear wheels hopping. He pulled bout 1 car lenght on me. Finaly catch traction and pulled away from him right away, shut down at bout 80. He stays on my tail, and a couple miles out of town he pulls next to me, flashes his lights and takes off. From bout 60, I down shift into 3rd. He got the jump on me but I caught up to him pretty quick and pulled about 2 cars on him. Shut down at 120. I was surprised, especialy from a roll.

My bolt on L-98 would hang with a stock LS1 until we hit about 90mph. I actually pulled them pretty good from a roll, but they would eventually start to creep up on me. BTW, My L-98 ran 13.4@102'ish all day long.
