Only got to make one pass

We got the BOOT for drinking in the parking lot

That's O.K. it was FUCKING COLD...............

I put a differt carb on the OLE DEMON and it BOOGED pretty bad coming off the line.. Have to work on that. Didn't use the trans brake, just hit it off idle . Thought I was just making a warm up pass, didn't know it was going to be my last

Had a SHITTY reaction time I must have been

Car ran O.K. but not happy with the top end speed.

Hey Evil,

I tried to post my time from last night, butt, couldn't get it to take the time slip. Said it was TO BIG . Usually, just the women say that

so here it is. Do with it what you want.

also, don't have a converter to change to 1/4 mile time.

By you using the term "trans brake" Im assuming you ran the 7.1 . Speed does look low tho.

7.1 x 1.565 = 11.11

My car number is 6766, permanent number.

I didn't use the trans brake.

On the top speed, I need to look at why it was so low. Partly, I think it is because of the gears in the rear ( 553's) and the fact it has a super low 1st gear in the trans, which allows the car to get out quick. I have to look at the whole combination.

Nice time, but JEEEEEEEZ you need to change that gear! Well, unless you plan to remain on an 1/8th mile track. How soon does it need to shift?

First shift is just at the 60' foot mark , then it goes awhile. I have run it at the 1/4 mile and it goes through the lights at about 7900 . The motor does love to BUZZ..........

Remember it has 33" tall tires . That's why the GREAT wheel stands

I'm assuming that's all motor? You need to get some pics of it at the track for us to see.

This is just a guess here Jay!

Posted by: The OLE MAN

Jay, Jay, Jay,

You know me better than that. I don't use the JUICE........... or any other power adder for that matter.

SHIT BOY, if it won't run on the motor, build anyother one

Here is a pic of the next motor that is going in it. I've had this sitting around for awhile . This should put it in the 9's

The OLE MAN

Posted by: Grape Ape

It sure takes a LOTTA Chrysler to go 9's!

Dual carbs???????? SHEESH! That ought to put an M1A1 in the 15's!

Posted by: casey5

That motor would probably be faster if it had a indy single plane on it.

Posted by: Grape Ape

Heh... This aught to be good... Casey, that engine belongs to a guy who's probably built more of them than you've seen in all your life. Trust that he knows what he's doing. Don't mind my ragging on him, as I do that to all you guys for fun. Odds are great, it's set up exactly as he wants it.

Posted by: Tang

Ole Man, you build some nice looking engines.

Hey Casey,

I agree, in certain circumstances a single plane, single four would work great.

However, having said that, this particular engine needs ( in my opinion ) the tunnel ram. That particular tunnel ram is off a PRO STOCK car from the early70's. I know, OLD TECHNOLOGY, butt, it works.

Wait and see what it does. MAYBE, just for you I will take it off AFTER a few runs and put a single plane on it and see the difference. MAYBE, you will be right. Keep in mind I'm OLD and
