What do I do about this ?

Does this mean there is something on my computer it is trying to connect to ? This happens about twice per day.

I wouldn't necessarily click on "OK".

I would do an independent computer scan via Trend Micro House Call.

tang you considered buying a router? A hardware firewall is much better than software. Also, I never get any hit on my firewall (zonealarm) since I bought a cheap router.

I havent thought about it, but Im going to be buying one anyway, due to having two computers in the house. I need to route my broadband to the other one anyway.

dude, thats the new style of popup ad... just dont click anywhere inside the box because all the buttons are "acceptance" to install whatever they are peddling... just close it with the top right "X" button.

BTW, I just had that problem here at work (I do tech support) and neither ad-aware or spybot would find the program. turned out to be a new pop-up program that spyware and ad aware hadn't created a fix for yet... I had to clean it manually, and I do not suggest that anyone do it themselves, as its a pain in the ass. just wait a week and update your spybot. they should have a fix soon.

I have 1 comuter that I do my main stuff on.. and a Laptop for the other questionable stuffz. I reload the Laptop about every 9 months due to add/Spyware and pop-ups.. But I definately suggest if you use cable to get a router. Routers cut out most of the kids that think it's cool to mess with people.

Routers just route data. Firewalls protect the devices on the network, by shutting down certain ports and such.
