Heh, Kerry a bible thumper? heheheheh No. Unless you meant that in a derogatory manner. 
I don't mind seeing a believer in Office. Afterall, most Presidents(if not all) believed in God and most made no bones about it until the "liberal movement" came along. Bush simply reasserted the reality.
I considered emissions might be even more a problem had Kerry been elected too, but I wouldn't have voted for him if he'd been the only person named on the ballot! He's not a good person, period.
