So for a 302, making peak power at 6000, you need 165cfm per cylinder. 165cfm x 8 = 1320cfm, I dont see a 302 running very well with a 1320cfm carb on it. Unless ofcourse, the head cfm dont apply to the carb also.

Im not understanding what im looking at here. I have gt40 iron heads now and am looking ot some edelbrock victor jr heads. what do the #s mean? why is there hp #s up there? I dont get it, some one help me out.

85Snake, I haven't looked at the link, but I can tell you that you can make some nice end tables with the GT-40 heads.
