Default NFL Playoffs...

AFC Wild Card
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals

NFC Wild Card
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys
Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals

AFC Divisional
Lowest seed at Indianapolis Colts
Highest seed at San Diego Chargers

NFC Divisional
Lowest seed at Minnesota Vikings
Highest seed at New Orleans Saints

I think that's right...

How do you guys and gals think this'll play out?

AFC Wild Card
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots (convinced- Patriots are strong, as usual)
New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals (not convinced yet, but expect) Bengals need to refire their offense.

NFC Wild Card
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (convinced, particularly after the 24-0 drubbing handed down yesterday. 19 teams have tried to win 3 times in a single season and 12 have done it. Dallas has failed twice before, but I don't see it this time.
Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals (convinced- GB is just playing well)

AFC Divisional
Lowest seed at Indianapolis Colts (convinced- Colts are looking like the best team in the league whenever they need to)
Highest seed at San Diego Chargers (convinced- SD is doing very well)

NFC Divisional
Lowest seed at Minnesota Vikings (convinced- REALLY strong this yr)
Highest seed at New Orleans Saints (convinced- Even with 3 losses to end the regular season, this N.O. team is for real)

SIDE NOTE: How about them BROWNS? I know, they still suck... However, they really woke up near the end of the season and, if Holmgren allows Mangini to stay, I think they'll do well next season. On the other hand, I think it'd be nice to see Holmgren himself coaching again. 4 straight wins to finish the season is nice, but they should've played much better all along...

Me too... And while I like the Longhorns to an extent, I really expect Alabama to open a can on 'em this Thursday. More on that later... Don't wanna take all the NFL out of this thread... hint...

Texas had a pretty poor game against Nebraska, but Bama hasn't been all that impressive this year either. I don't think Bamas defense is as strong as Nebraska and I believe that Texas has a good enough rushing defense to stop Ingram. I think that its gonna be a close low scoring game, alot like TCU and Boise State.

The Browns woke up a little towards the end of the season, I think they were tired of being mentioned in the same breath as the 2008 Detroit Lions.

My dad is a huge Browns fan, he said that about a month ago they started playing tons of people he had never heard of. The rumor around Cleveland was that the Browns put out notice that if you wanted a chance to prove yourself with instant game experience come to Cleveland. They were playing people who came in from the CFL and stuff.

Aww...You bastards started talking college ball in here...I knew I should've started a BCS Bowl game thread, too...I just didn't wanna look like I was flooding the board...Then again, at least it'd make the board move a little more... =P

While the Patriots are, well, just the fucking Patriots, do you really think that they have a legit shot at advancing past the second round without Welker? I mean, that guy has just been a complete beast, and is constantly bailing them out of 3rd down situations...Without that threat, can the Pats get first downs? Plus, who else do they have on their depth chart that will take coverage off of Moss?

As far as the Browns go, I'd like for them to pull it out...I was hoping that Derek Anderson would do well...Anything to keep Brady Quinn off of the field...Screw him...

Amen to that...Fuck Dallas, too...

Unfortunately, they just seem like the hottest team in the NFC...Ugh...Makes me sad just thinking that... =(

LOL...This post makes me sound like a bitter asshole...I'm a sweetie, I promise...

Well the Bengals didn't get the memo aboutthe offense, but Dallas SMASHED Philly again, as I expected. I didn't get to watch the Bengals self-destruct, but I did see Philly fall apart, and fall apart they did.

With the Pats game, it isn't so much the Pats themselves, but the Ravens just don't impress me and the Pats tend to show up for playoff games.

Edit: Yep my picks weren't worth crap. I am a browns fan though, what would I know about the playoffs?

Same here..... but I'm a Texans/Dolphins fan.

I was happy to see the Ravens beat the Pats. I hate NE, only picked them cause I didn't think Balt had a chance.

Also glad to see Arizona beat Green Bay, Picked them for the same reasons I picked NE.

Now the only team I cant stand that's still in it is the Cowboys. I'll be pulling for the Saints from now on.

Todays games threw me off... The Pats didn't bother showing up, which is odd. The Pack did, but without it's defense...

I'll agree with the above picks for next week, EXCEPT the Dallas/Minnesota game. I think the Vikes are great, but Dallas is the hot ticket right now. I'm thinking the Colts will win it all in the end.
