1983 trans am broadcast code?? help??
my old man has a 1983 pontiac trans am, he had a check engine light some on and the code came up that there was a bad prom, and just so happens the prom in the 83 was out of a 84 and so the codes were different, now the car runs without the prom even in it, so my question is where can i get that braodcast code, i was hoping someone on this board would have a 83 but who knows the serial number is 01226026 on the ecu, im looking for the three letters i believe is on the stock prom or even a aftermarket on, if anyone can help that would be great..
