Default Need Help With Transmission

Has anyone had trouble or heard of busting bell housings in a third generation camaro.It has a 350 with a 700R4 tailhousing.I am running a stock torque arm with a polyurethnne trans mount.The motor is a 406 with 500 to 530 hp with solid mounts.The rearend is a moser 9'' with 430 gears.Any suggestions would help.

Get a built 200-4r! It almost sounds like something isn't mounted or aligned properly. Of course, the 700 was never meant for that much power and the high torque that comes with the power. Adding 4.30's can't help the somewhat weak transmission.

Does anybody know what the pinion angle should be set at.

Off the cuff, I almost always start @ 4*, with very few exceptions.
