Here's what I drive in the summer:

I work for Yosemite river raft rentals in the summer and this is what we use to haul the rafts back to the base.

'06 International 4300 24' stakebed
466 cu. in. inline 6 turbo diesel
210 hp, 520 ft lbs torque
5-speed auto overdrive
air brakes
rear lift gate

Here's the engine specs

oh yeah...and an air horn!

Rafting season ended yesterday so it's back to driving a 'toy' truck. I got used to the big ones!

Well I picked me up another ride back in Janurary. Seems the family urges are taking over the desire to drive like a freak....

Bought another minivan.... At least it is a stick so there is a little fun in it. The fairly firm Mazda3 based suspension combined with the Mazdaspeed wheels and sticky Bridgestone Potenza RE-040a tires makes this thing handle suprisingly well. It's fun to divebomb into long sweeping exit ramps to find the Corolla or Civic that was riding your ass drop back as they begin to lose grip in the turn.

My last car was a POS so I never posted it. But I got a new toy around Christmas I thought I'd share. An 86 Mustang GT convertible 5.0 with 5speed......which replaced an 85 Mustang LX convertible that was a total dog with a 3.8l V6 and auto trans

Mods the previous owner made that I've verified:
JBA headers
H-pipe with hi-flo cats
Flowmasters
rear brakes converted to disc
Cobra R rims
Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve
K&N filter in factory location
140 mph speedo
Eclipse stereo with mp3 player connection
cheap subwoofer and amp in the trunk
93 Cobra taillights

Mods the former owner claims that I have not yet verified:
aftermarket cam, he wasn't specific
ported heads and intake
ECU out of an 89 Mustang

Things I've done in the 3 months since buying her:
new tires
new shocks
fixed the rear disc conversion......he left out a $10 part and reused something from the factory that took out my front brakes when it failed
paint job, took the pics as soon as I got her home from that
replaced the shitty 22-year-old speakers with some Infinitys

Next I plan to figure out why the foglights and cruise control don't work. Then replace all the fluids with some good synthetic and a tuneup. Maybe get a cold air kit that draws air from the fender. I'm also hearing good things about ceramic brake pads.
